  Third film from David Lynch that I have seen. Inland Empire deviates in terms of visual style from it's predecessors Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive: it is more experimental, raw and grainy compared to the comparatively neater and more polished narrative of BV and MD. It's very 2000s grunge surrealist collage art, if you've ever been exposed to that.
