  I am genuinely baffled as to why she's getting any acclaim for this train wreck. I can only assume people lauding her performance have never actually seen or heard Diana or know anything about the royal family. Curious why the filmmaker and star decided to play her like a complete lunatic. Terrible line delivery throughout her performance, too. Hm.

  There's so much I could say and not enough time to get into everything wrong with it, so I'll just leave it at "yikes, that was atrocious" and slowly back away.

  Timothy Spall was great, though.

  Eh, the people ragging on this film are either joyless wankers or they haven't read the book. This was a great version - beautiful sets, wonderful cast, good pacing, fun AF. Is it the best movie ever? No, but it was enjoyable and not at all deserving of the hate.
