A filthy beautiful film. It has both filth and beauty in it! They nailed it, creating a repulsive creature that is neither sexy nor friendly—and absolutely not a victim. It’s pure corruption, filth, and dirty eroticism, drenched in blood and even more blood. In a way, they might have even evoked the primal evil.

It wasn’t a particularly bad movie, but I wouldn’t call it memorable either. What definitely stuck with me is that the werewolf isn’t an oversexualized metalhead with a shiny mane, but a wretched mutant—dangerous to itself and others, living purely on instinct.
The rest of the film was just okay—good, but nothing special.
Oh yes! This is a brutal, raw, visceral return to the chaos-blood-fear trio of the original concept. I absolutely loved it, and it has become one of my all-time favorites. I have always liked the short film concept, but now the transitional segments between the shorts—let's say pseudo-documentaries—added to it as much as they took away. Plus, Justin Long? There were only three negative things in the film: First and foremost, I often felt like I was seeing the modern world with contemporary dialogues. However, since there weren’t many such conversations, it’s not a fatal flaw.
Second: There is a scene towards the end where the main character uses the head of the fur hunters as bait. The monologue given made me bury my face in my hands. But even this can be overlooked.
