A harrowing and intense doc cataloging the work of a rescue centre and its operations in the Northern Iraq and Syrian border areas, where large numbers of the Kurdish ethnic female population have been captured and forced into marriages and sex slavery by the ominous and sinister Daesch group.
Compelling, tense and enlightening, these guys are brave heroes as are some of the girls who willingly ‘go behind enemy lines’ to help gain intelligence and liberate other oppressed women. Highly recommended.
