  kicking off our holiday movie watchlist with a warm hug of a movie. My wife referred to this as guy hygge. Its simply a sweet and funny tale about a group of misbegotten people left alone for the holidays. Nostalgia if you love Hal Ashby movies because this really feels like one. Plus the three central performances are all fantastic. Third time was the charm for my wife who finally saw the movie from beginning to end. This only grows in admiration for me.
