  Real Nights of Cabiria-vibes, i.e. a formidable but achingly sympathetic sex worker grasping for a glimmer of meaning beyond cold, hard dollar signs.

  But it’s Nights of Cabiria crashing into the absurd late-capitalist decadence of Spring Breakers/Beach Bum-era Korine at a breathless, breakneck Safdie Bros’ian pace! & with all the incredible tonal shifts that Baker deals in.

  Takes over the body. Crushes the heart. I also laff’d loads :’D

  In summary: what a ride.
