In an ode to 20th Century Fox it feels as if Deadpool 3 might have only existed in our current timeline. With so much turmoil surrounding the MCU and the ethereal existence Fox's former superhero franchises are now in only a character like Deadpool could explore the blatant space. That's what Deadpool, for all his faults, has been good for in comics and in movies.

Godzilla Minus One isn't a monster movie. The movie followed the same path that many of Japan's recent adaptations of their most beloved kaiju have. Godzilla is a vehicle to express a deeper meaning within Japanese culture. Whereas the American adaptations have quickly strayed into monster battle territory, Japan seems keen on reminding the world why Godzilla is a cultural icon.
