  I liked the photography and the pacing. I liked the characters and the story. It was kinda like Apocalypse Now, but without all the animal abuse. Maybe in the sequel they will kill a space oxen or something. Here’s hoping.

  There something so fun about spooky house comedies. I can’t get enough. Is this the prototype? Pretty sure either this film or Ghost Breakers was the inspiration for Disney‘s Haunted Mansion.

  Bob plays a legit hero here, and he’s kinda dashing along side the magnificently natural Paulette. A fun double feature with The Cat and the Canary.

  It’s pretty good for a masterpiece, but I’m hoping the studio’s cut is eventually released. Roger Ebert’s commentary is essential (for dummies like me) to understanding what makes this film truly one of the best.

  Anyone know if they are working on part two? I still want to know what Rosebud meant.
