Sound design is absolutely unreal and creates an excruciating atmosphere that makes your skin crawl throughout. Beautiful, rich colours and a good idea. Depressing but prescient take on LA, celebrity culture and the self but ruined by the ending.

Such a time capsule, felt like I was thrown back into the 2000s. Ridiculous music, obscene styling, sleazy male love interests and the glamorisation of mental illness. Meryl Streep is the goat though and Stanley Tucci is always class. Felt like Andy’s redemption was too sudden and devoid of dramatic tension. Left feeling underwhelmed by all aspects. Idk why I’ve left such a long review.
