This was absolutely worth the hype. Incredibly hard watch - even harder listen, what you imagine is almost worse than if they showed the tapes. It kept getting more and more disturbed and the tension build with THAT computer scene near the end was masterful. Incredibly disturbed film in the best way without ever feeling gratuitous. It always felt like the film was making a comment/asking questions.
Would love to recommend this to people but it was genuinely quite scarring… INSANE performance from Juliette Gariépy

Robert Pattinson is unreal. The differences between each Mickey are subtle and massive all at once. I did really enjoy the film and LOVED the creepers however I’d be lying if I said it didn’t drag slightly. I felt like there were too many themes and questions left unanswered to the point where I don’t know what was meant to feel important. The characters were great - amazing performances all round - I heard Mark Ruffallo was getting hate?? He was amazing? Maybe people are just not comfortable with big choices from actors they’re familiar with?

Absolutely hilarious at points and heartbreaking at others. Super fast paced but lingers when it matters. One of the rare times at the cinema recently where I’ve forgotten I was watching a movie. It’s THAT real, the script is that good and the acting is just different levels. My Best Picture winner so far.
Ending has me wanting to cry for 10 minutes.

HOW TF did this cost less than $10million!?
It made me want to take up smoking.
The ending did not land for me AT ALL I can’t lie. Whilst I understand that it has value and definitely raises some interesting points “The destination matters more than the journey” (or whatever it was) had me thinking for a while. I felt like it simplified things too much. I felt so much with those final shots before the epilogue that I would’ve…
