Paddington in Peru 2024
Charming, heartwarming and hilarious.
When viewing these movies objectively speaking, it is just as silly and linearly written as any other children’s movie. But somehow Paddington movies have this charm that smooths over the edges and removes the groan-inducing aspects these kinds of movies usually exhibit. I’m left just fully engrossed in the light hearted silliness in a very non Letterboxd fashion. (That is to say I actually just sit down and let the enjoyable aspects of the movie wash over me)
I was nervous at the directorial shift between the movies but it was almost non noticeable.
I love these movies so much.
