Overall it's a cute, light, cozy little thing to watch on a rainy afternoon. The songs in this movie are really lovely and I'd listen to them a lot if they were on streaming.
I could feel this movie going in one ear and out the other as I was watching it. Crazy. Spacey is funny in the opening scene and isn't allowed to be again, because the movie decides it wants to be a shitty indie family drama. Just boring and lame.
One of the crappiest romances I've seen. Our lead actually has chemistry with Tad, they have good moments and there is never any real flaws revealed about him that would cause them to break up. Topher Grace on the other hand, is a controlling, wimpy, jerk who has zero and I mean ZERO affectionate scenes with her. He's always either bickering with her or whining about Tad. And she gets with him at the end because he gives a crappy speech about her smile. Blech.
