Maybe I saw this in an impatient mood, but the first half an hour drags on with super long conversational scenes.
The last half an hour is great - is it worth sitting through the first half an hour? eh I don’t know. I’ll need to think.Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett are a great power couple though (wish that started earlier in the film).

I really liked this films dissection of religion, and unlike what others have said I think it holds itself for the majority of the plot.
My one complaint is how it ended. It kinda negates its own whole message about religion when the annoying religious girls ‘win’. Hugh Grant was definitely the evil antagonist but he wasn’t exactly wrong with how bad religion is…
