“Isn’t it peculiar, Charlie Brown, how some traditions just slowly fade away?”
Goddamn, these kids just say it like it is. An annual watch in our household!

“The best way to bring folks together is to give them a real good enemy.”
Of course Wicked: Part 1 was good. Of course it was. Of course Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande stood on even footing, alongside a nonstop incredible supporting cast from head to toe. There should never have been a doubt in my mind.
Absolutely beautiful, powerful, and stunning. Truly, this felt like watching the musical (or, at least, the first act) for the first time all over again. Can’t wait for part two!
“It really is the year that it is.”
They did it. They’ve won. That was the worst musical I’ve ever seen in my life.
I don’t even really know what I can say here. Being perfectly honest, I’d love more than anything to never see or hear anything from the writers (and leads, they’re the same two people) of this project ever again. This film was a disaster that only gets a full star from me for its production value…
“There comes a time in every man’s life where he must draw a line in the sand. And, Emma, I will never be in a fucking musical!”
A lovably low-budget, laughably low-brow, light yet legendary piece of internet (and niche musical theater) history. I’m glad to (in a way) get to be a part of it now!
Much love to the creative team, but this is also not Starkid’s best by any means (looking at you, Twisted…)
