Quite pretty visually. Don’t know if I 100% understood what was going on meaning-wise but I got a gist. Just really liked the way it looked.
I feel like it was about the journey of life. Of things not going to plan, of regret, hurt, chaos, rebuilding. Dude wants to leave the island but can’t, cuz that’s not his life path or journey. Turns out it’s his son’s tho.

Really quite good. Story flowed really well and the banter and dialogue was super engaging. World fucks her over time and time again. Weird how such a funny movie could also be about the worst day of someone’s life in a very emotionally scarring and brutal way. She is made to feel like something and then nothing.
