Not great, Bob

I found this to be very fun. I felt like John Malkovich was having a great time playing that character. The overall story is a solid, clever version of an investigating a cult movie.

I wasn't totally sure how I felt about it coming right out of the theater, but there were a number of things that I pieced together thinking about it later that made me appreciate it more.

My favorite thing about The Descent is that it's already a terrifying situation before the horror elements are introduced. I love how the interpersonal story plays out by the end. My only nitpick with it is that I have trouble keeping the characters straight at times but that's bound to happen when everyone's trapped in a deep dark cave.

Loved it. The sisters have a great relationship that gets tested as things progress. It's full of teen angst and surprisingly emotional by the end.
