to me the two storylines did not mesh that well together. nevertheless i enjoyed it a lot and -as expected- it was visually stunning

gorgeous colors and soundtrack.
death is something i often think about and i liked how it was portrayed. it resonated with me a lot. i also appreciate the conversation between damian and ingrid. it often feels like current films like to reference the current state of the world (no jaden smith pun intended) but fear to hold a clear and strong posture. kudos to almodóvar for that.
