La Chinoise 1967
Nice cinematography, but first half of film takes place in just a few rooms of an apartment. Not even close to what I would normally choose to watch. Have to admit I didn’t understand really what the point of the film was, but if it was to condone communism, why would hip looking artists choose a political path that would ultimately squelch their ability to be creative and independent. IMO, the college students standing against the freedoms their parents fought for seemed so self indulgent and annoying. Could only watch the first half before dozing off.
