    Glad I watched this, and I appreciated the risks it took even not every one paid off. Enjoyable characters and performances. Lost steam towards the end and could’ve been like 15 minutes shorter. I would recommend it though I’m not sure if I’ll watch it again.

    This was my second watch, and as expected, there was a lot to pick up on/appreciate on a second viewing. Obviously a fantastic performance from Toni Colette, as well as the daughter. I really love the daughter’s character, and I like how her neurodivergence is presented in a manner that is both respectful and plot-relevant (no spoilers but I think her actions/motivations are tied to her disability).     This is one of those that lives up to the hype for none of the reasons you’d expect. Structured and acted sorta like a play. Impressive and memorable effects of course. Cinematography that has personality, at turns dated and forward-thinking. Not a perfect movie but a fun watch!
