Insomnia 2002
Kinda disappointed ngl, what could have been a very compelling plot was undone by a few wuite silly oversights.
The performances were generally pretty good but nothing incredible, although the way al pacino looked like utter death by the end was quite impressive.
Wasnt poorly shot but considering the environments they were dealing with it felt visually kind of boring a lot of the time.
Low 6/10 and probably my lowest rated Nolan movie of the ones I’ve seen, not a bad movie though and worth the watch.Translated from by

Obviously this is a technically incredible film, from the visual effects to the cinematography to the acting (especially cilian, gahdamn), i cant fault any aspect there.
That being said, it felt like there was so much more opportunity to bring emotion and connection to the story. This should have been one of the most harrowing films put to screen, we should have watched the absolute trauma and guilt of having invented the nuke. We did see a little bit but…
