Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
Taika Waititi’s follow-up to Thor Ragnarok lacks everything that made its predecessor so compelling. Apart from the odd laugh most of the jokes fall flat on their face and the convoluted plot seems like it’s held together by band-aid’s. Thor L&T feels like a first draft of a screenplay rather than the final product. The only positive being Christian Bale’s performance as Gorr. But even that character lacked originality often just seemingly a ripped off Voldemort. Not entirely sure what Waititi is going for here.
