Danny McBride and Nick Swardson really carry this one to be honest. They are just so funny. The movie is pretty simple and silly, but it is a quick and breezy watch that keeps the jokes coming. Aziz Ansari is also a great addition. He usually hits or misses for me, but he really clicks with Jesse Eisenberg’s character and provides some solid comedic relief. This is not going to win any awards or anything, but if you are looking for a fun way to kill 80 minutes, it is worth checking out, especially if you enjoy the cast’s sense of humor.

Just had a blast watching the premiere of this at the Erie Horror Festival. Pays homage to classic horror sci-fi while managing to be consistently hilarious the whole way through. You could tell this was a blast to make and that came through. Lots of fun!

I’m thrilled that Eggers had the chance to remake and refine a story that means so much to him, delivering a modern version that honors what makes the original so special. And…
