Not exactly sure how to start this review off but I'll just start with the thesis that Bacurau is one of (if not the most) pointless and gratuitously violent films I've ever seen. The largest flaw I see here is the film's remarkable incapability of "saying anything". According to the directors it's supposed to be about the exploitation of small rural Brazilian communities, but where the hell is that supposed to be represented in the film?…
