Nice little film this, it's the old heartwarming tale of a douchebag turned good, but it hits all the right notes and it's well acted throughout (including Chris Pine which is a surprise for me, he usually sucks). The kid was good as well.
I enjoyed it, I was looking for this type of escapism and this worked for me.
This was an entertaining movie, with a killer cast - even Walken seemed to step up his game on this one and put in a performance of note.
It's a bit wacky and bizarre but I was on board from the beginning and I think Sam Rockwell may just be the best actor working in Hollywood right now.
Definitely worth a watch
This was a documentary that doesn't have a lot to say or offering an opinion, it's just a window into the world. Not that well made but it's interesting and engaging and worth a watch
This is a must see documentary. Looking at all sides of the story from the key players in this crazy tale. It's got a lot more under the surface than the synopsis suggests, that's all I can say without giving too much away. Despite using reconstruction, which I tend to shy away from, it's used in such a way that it enhances the documentary and uses some cool techniques.
Not sure about the DVD but the Blu-Ray has an excellent Q&A with the director, producer and the private detective from the story.
