  As nihilistic a film can be about war, but I don’t know… kind of boring?

  War in Restrepo is bleak, disturbing, and intensely physical. Korengal during the height of the war in Afghanistan was considered the most dangerous place on planet earth. 

  You will not find any red white and brown nosing, nor any vindictive finger pointing at Washington in this film. Men dig holes, shoot, get shot, and dig deeper holes. Some of them die.
