I enjoy what this film sets out to do - and I genuinely enjoy that it swings big. It doesn't connect entirely, but the effort is there, and the bulk of the film is carried by a silent protagonist. The depiction of the pursuers ranges from 'that moment' in Signs, to something more from the Marvel textbook, but enough is done with them that you can appreciate it.
