  One star for Chris Pratt’s comedic timing

  It wasn’t a terrible movie, I just didn’t care about the story or the characters at all. It was very meh. And kinda stupid…

  Also- why does Christ Pratt’s costume design never change??? I swear you could’ve stuck his character in this movie (literally cannot remember his name) in Jurassic World or Guardians of the Galaxy and I would not bat an eye.

  This movie is so smart. Is it provocative, yes, but not unnecessarily so. Most choices felt very motivated. Granted, there were a few moments where a desire for spectacle over plot was evident, but not enough moments to take away from the film’s overall message. The actors did fantastic. The writing was great. The cinematography was unreal. This is one of the prettiest movies I’ve seen. There was a rawness to the shots that I particularly enjoyed.
