  My family was occupying the living room TV watching the Grammys, so off to the man cave to work. Flipped on Amazon and watched Night Swim. I remember seeing the trailer for it and thought it looked interesting, but had no idea what it was really about. 

  I found the cast to be great, didn’t realize the dad was the John Walker from the MCU! Love the baseball connection too. The story felt like something out of a Japanese horror…

  White House Down 2013

  I’m not Channing Tatum or Jamie Foxx’s biggest fan, but I was pleasantly surprised at their performance. I found the movie to be fun, though it reminded me of Die Hard on more than one occasion...which (for me) isn’t terrible. The action kicks in fairly early and doesn’t stop until the end. Story was believable enough, course now I can look back and can see some of the foreshadowing. Currently streaming on Peacock.

  My streak of choosing horrible horror movies is still alive!! 

  This is another movie where the poster suckered me in. The premise of the movie at least seemed interested. Not original in any way, but I thought it may worth my time.

  So much of this movie bothered me. The acting. The script. The characters. The music/sounds. The special effects. I could keep on going.
