Everyone should see this movie. Horrifying beyond imagination. This movie moves past sensationalism and beauty and goes straight for the jugular…leaps right into hell to stare you in the face, not the melodramatic soft low-key lighting and musical swells and heroic Adagio for Strings tearjerker bullcrap that we see everywhere. Just atrocity after atrocity after atrocity that fits no narrative and defies all poetry. Nameless and faceless masses drunk with the putrid mania of murder lost in fog and drowning in mud.
Fuck Nazis, fuck anyone who would Sieg Heil. We have forgotten our inhumanity. We need to be reminded.
