The writing is just b a d. I know this is Almodóvar’s first English language full length film but can’t help but wonder if it just didn’t translate well? There were parts that felt very telenovela. Also, went in without seeing the trailer and probably wouldn’t have seen it otherwise with my mom being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer last year. Just not for me.
