I completely fell in love with the cinematography, production design, and color grading—wow. Adrien Brody delivered a brilliant performance, though at times it felt reminiscent of his role in The Pianist. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, minus a few moments that dragged.

I appreciated the theme of human expendability in the face of human advancement (chef’s kiss) and its eerie relevance to our current world. But ultimately, the script and world-building fell flat for me. Sitting through it was more exhausting than engaging. I do love Rob Pat, but this one just didn’t hit for me.
