As an annoying theatre kid myself…I have to say yall hyped it up way too much. Performances were good but honestly something about it felt so inauthentic. Maybe the directing. Something was lifeless and bored me which is CRAZY bc I CRY when I watch musicals. This I would not watch again sorry :/

Really on the nose with theme/politics/general subject matter but overall enjoyable. I wasn’t busting out laughing but I had a good chuckle or two. Mark Ruffalo’s character veneers were scaring me. Toni Collette is good (as she always is). Those creepers are so cute.

Thought I should check out some more emerald fennel after saltburn came out. This shit was so disappointing. I wanted it to be a win for women. It sort of was, but just did not satisfy as much as SPOILER ALERT if Cassie had finished the job herself, not the police. This whole movie was really good foreplay and a wholly disappointing finish
