The Northman 2022
This simmered but never boiled for me. The violence, the weirdness, the performances, the emotion, the photography… all simmered but didn’t boil. Don’t get me wrong, it was all very hot. But I have to admit it didn’t burn my face off like I wanted it too.

Saw this at the WGA theater with a Q&A with Steven and Tony Kushner afterward. A pretty incredible experience. Some highlights of what they said:
- The first conversations they had that led to making this movie started all the way back when they were making MUNICH. Just little stories Steven shared with Tony in between takes.
