It 2017
8 years after its release, It still has the x factor to scare the shit out of me. The modern film adaptation of Stephen King's novel perfectly encapsulates the terrifying dancing clown, Pennywise. The casting for the film was also perfectly executed. Who would have thought that Bill Skarsgard would make a horrifying clown. Overall, this film should serve as a blueprint for future movie adaptions of King's novels.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
Finally got the chance to see this classic film and all I can say is I'm in awe of everything; the direction, screenplay, and cast. This movie definitely deserved all of the nominations from the Academy Awards. Aside from the great acting and writing, the film also has the most memorable lines. A 5/5 movie indeed.
