  couldn’t see past the misogyny really to ever get on board. As soon as I saw the shot of the woman’s back as she was running away from the car crash, I had a feeling this wouldn’t be for me. the lesbian relationship felt sensationalist and clout hungry. the women were very traditionally beautiful but the men were weird and funny

  that scene at the end where they sail to wales in the jet stream of the ferry… magic. this was so sweet and I am a simple man who lives when the nice guy gets the girl, and brothers being kind to each other. so it’s a big win for me

  I hope to move forward with some of Edna’s sense of self, sense of clarity, sense that she has something to say and is going to say it no matter what. Incredible how much life she experienced and was not jaded or cruel. I’m in total awe of her glamour, candour and class. such a beautiful (and GORGEOUS) woman
