While the film could be preachy times, it's sense of hopefulness creates some of the most stressful memories I've had in a movie theater. Interjected with stunning images of space and comedic banter, it allows the audience to breathe for a moment before the next stressful sequence. From a person who hates 3D, the use of the technology in Gravity was completely warranted and added greatly to the experience. And a exhilarating experience at that.
