I finally got to show the Blu-ray edition of this film at Tin Pan and it looks great and made me like it even more. Most of the audience was laughing at all my favorite parts too. I think this is one of my favorite bad movies.

Watched on 70mm at Hollywood Theatre in Portland. This movie was even better the second time. It looks absolutely great on film. It reminded me that this really is an "epic" in the same way that many of the historical epics of the 60s were. I love that it tracks the flow of history through this one man and who he was and how he was just a fallible human being like the rest of us.
