i liked a lot about this movie, especially the performances. the shots of scenery from around savannah were cool and felt very appropriate.
however, the thin motivations to convict from the rest of the jury undermine the tension in the main character's moral dilemma. the movie frames the criminal justice system as an imperfect process that suffers from incompetent and self-interested americans who are doing what they believe to be correct, so the decisions that justin and faith make at the end follow that line which feels simple compared to the initial premise
