    Heretic

    ★★★★

"Heretic" is an excellent thriller, whose strong point is an exceptional cast (Hugh Grant, but also the beautiful Sophie Thatcher) and a script containing twists and biting dialogues on a delicate theme such as religion.

The direction is great, the tension is always present and it is an appreciable film both for those looking for a horror thriller with always high suspense, and for those who want a more challenging film that makes you think.

I think this movie doesn't need any presentation or a review, it's a masterpiece and I think it's enough to say this.

The cast is absolutely exceptional, the great Mel Gibson and Danny Glover give life to one of the most iconic couples in the history of cinema, between hilarious scenes and an unexpected psychological introspection.

    ★★½

“The Nun II” is came out in theaters, so I wanted to do a rewatch of the first one to refresh my memory. Well, I remembered this being a mediocre horror movie, and to be honest I won't change my opinion.

The problem with this film is undoubtedly the screenplay: full of clichés, with poorly written characters, truly senseless plot twists, and with some truly absurd dialogues.

However, I don't want to put the rating too low because it is…
