The reality of this show kinda ruined my whole day. This was so incredibly well-made and the use of single-shot for each episode was beautifully done. A lot of times when it comes to stories like this and true crime shows that portray crimes like this a LOT of cuts are used. We didn’t need the flashy commercialization that often comes with terrible crimes. I don’t think we ever even looked directly at a phone screen, only saw printed photos.…

Labyrinth 1986
The children deserve puppets and practical effects and singers that can act. They deserve creative direction and art they love but might not fully understand until they’re older bc growing up is rarely digestible and never easy to understand while you’re experiencing it. When we give children stories they can grow with, we give them the chance to grow in the first place. This movie understands that. You don’t have to be frozen between the ages of 5 and 12 to love a movie like this and we need more of that. Studios need to trust storytellers and artists. Beautiful things happen when creatives are trusted.
