Not sure what the film is trying to say. That putting babies up for sale is ok as long as you mean well? Actually abortion can fix all the problems in this film. Contrary to the film’s assumption, abortion is not a less ethical option compared to giving birth to a baby knowing that you are incapable of providing proper care.

在香港的法庭高喊這裡有正義，未免太過時。如果它是十年前的作品，我應不會對此反感，但身處今日香港，對這種設計出來的大快人心只感厭惡，甚至覺得電影還教人相信「天有眼」，是一種精神鴉片。在紅線處處的香港以爭取公義為題材，劇本寫得很安全——時間設定為2002年，與近年頻頻作出不公裁決的法庭拉開距離；反派則由上流富人擔演，當中不牽涉政治壓迫。戲中的法律制度仍是保障公義，只是被富人濫用，制度仍然值得人挺身維護。劇本越安全，我卻覺得越危險，一如《我不是藥神》，好像把權貴罵遍，為平民一吐烏氣，其實對至高掌權者是輕輕放過的。
