Obvious comparisons to Blink Twice and rightly so but that’s quite a bit better than this. A lot of build up for not a lot of reward it felt like. John Malkovich seems like he’s having a great time and Ayo Edebiri wow…

Set designs are incredible and the performances are top notch. Takes some balls to make a film like this with just one true action scene and it surprisingly works quite well. Unravels towards the end with a satisfying conclusion of everyone’s actions which was fun. The score of this is so bizarre but can’t fault it at all and is very memorable.

The perfect example that less is more. You don’t need an extravagant idea that’s never been explored before to make a damn good film. An extremely deep insight into a meticulous contracted killer even though he barely says any words that aren’t his internal monologue. Some of the most tense scenes I’ve seen in a long time that really got the heart pumping. This also has probably the best fight scene I’ve seen this year which is captured expertly. There’s even slight tinges of comedy throughout which worked because of the absurdity of the situations the killer found himself in.

I've never left the cinema so enthralled and engrossed by a story in my whole life. No actor puts in a below par performance and they are all written so masterfully. So many things to think about with this, all the conflict internally and externally is just outstanding and I think this needs a second viewing to really grasp. Countless genres meshed into one to create a 3 hour epic. Cannot wait to see this in IMAX and inevitably boost this up to a 5 star rating.
