  Probably my favorite movie of 2024.

  I love its balance of linear and nonlinear storytelling, and how it builds characters on top of that. Yes, the chaotic one shot of the kitchen service during peak hours was great, but so was the people cursing, the dreams they’d tell each other, and every time a lobster shows up. Yes, I’m sweet on black and white, but I like how it kept the food from looking TOO desirable.
