A stunning, timely and urgent film. The core message that binds the flick together and really thematically intwines Izi and Benji's story with that of the sprawling titular housing estate is a quote from the estates resident DJ (reminiscent of a British 'Senor Love Daddy'), brilliantly played by Ian Wright: "They can't stop we. They can only stop we if we see we as I".
This is a film about the power of connection, community and family in the face…
