  If you knew all the pain and sorrow your future held, would you still choose to live it? This film is so much more than aliens, it delves into love, language, time, and ultimately it changes your entire view on life. This is film at its finest, complete and utter perfection.

  Very possible chance that my rating will go up as I ponder over it.
  This is the best film I have watched in a very long time. The idea that people always see another time as ‘the golden era’ couldn’t be more prevalent today. I love how it gradually emphasises the idea that the present is the most important thing and that we are in the golden era right now. I also just thought the overall concept of the movie was so clever and unique and the cinematography was unbelievable.

  Also, I think for the first time, Rachel McAdams played a character that I strongly disliked.

  I will continue to rewatch this every time I need a reminder that not everything in life is meant to be and that tomorrow is not ever promised meaning it’s so important to appreciate all the little things, and to make the absolute most of every situation you’re in, no matter how repetitive or dull it may seem. Words can’t express how much I love this film…
