An absolute pleasure to see this treat from talented filmmakers. A Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell esque cyberpunk romp with its own thoughts about the relation between wealth and labour, and a gorgeous, clean aesthetic and delightfully human and tangible character acting from the animators.
I can't wait to see more from them.
As an artist, an illustrator specifically, I feel a sense of kinship with humans from over 30 thousand years ago, a stretch of time I can't even begin to comprehend, when I see cave paintings, specifically the ones from the Chauvet Caves.
These were people who lived among animals, so peacefully they could observe and from memory recreate the bone structure in their heads - people who were so practiced in art, they made choices as to how best portray…
