It Happened One Night 1934
Sharply witty and funny all throughout and truly deserving of all its merits but perhaps the most important praise the film deserves is how it knows when to perfectly hold everything back and be vulnerable, like a beautiful bridge of a song that likes to come at you headfirst and strong.

I think my main issue with this is how it's written. There is little to hold on to at the start of the short to actually believe the vulnerability of both men, and it's sometimes hard to convince oneself that both actually found comfort in each other's company, especially when Angelo's lines were a little odd most of the time. But for all its imperfections, there were moments of truth that were almost pure enough to be found endearing. It's there, I think I just need a little more help finding it.
