This movie wants to be set in 1981, but its present day. The look, the music, the simple yet profound messaging; it all harkens back to a different era. This is small enough and interesting enough to remind me of those Ealing comedies from 80 years ago.

Okay here’s a secret: I stopped this at the 20-minute mark. Because it was too funny. I was laughing too often.
I was afraid he was giving us all the wheat and I was gonna be left with forty minutes of chaff.
I waited a whole day. Then I came back to the special. Closed my eyes. Made a wish. Hit the “resume.”
