From this point moving forward, out side of extreme examples on either side I am going to just rate MCU or comic book stuff as 2.5. This isn't my first diatribe and I'm sure there will be more but I'm just fried, and I'm the target audience.

This one fell off for me but I think in large part because I’ve housed the series back to back to back to back to back. Tain scene is solid as is the ladder but the wrap up doesn’t do it for me. I’m not really a super fan so I got lost by all the familial connections and Easter eggs.
Regardless it’s a pretty consistent series.
It's been a while since seeing this. Some super high highs, and great "total emersion scenes" that we've come to expect from QT. Its a tribute with loving tenderness to generes I love so feels kinda lab grown for me to enjoy. Some of the color stuff and wire work feels a little gimmicky tho.
Watched this with William and Chloe in town. If I was a voter it would have been my vote for best picture. Not perfect (kinda splitting hairs on that) but insanely high highs. Particularly with the performances, atmosphere, casting, so much.
Great foosball scenes Mark.
My only notes really are wishing the "boiling water frog effect" had come on more gradually (could have been done with slightly different editing/sequence) and that the daughters video home from london was distractingly well edited and shot as compared to the rest of her stock footage we see.
