the performances disarmed me in ways that I wasn’t expecting at all. charles melton played a man that never grew from a boy so poignantly and natalie’s attempt to psychoanalysize a deeply evil person with an undiagnosed personality disorder was beautiful to witness (which makes me a shitball because the whole point is how disgusting finding pleasure from other’s suffering is). the letter made me sick to my stomach and i highly recommend if the very glaring triggers aren’t going to cause harm.
